What Equipment is Included in a Semi Off-Grid System?

Solar Panels

The most obvious of the system set up, your panels ingest sunlight that powers up your batteries which stores energy for your home to use. Different panels ingest more energy. In most cases for Semi Off-Grid systems we recommend panels that are cyclone rated and hail resistant ot withstand the harsh Aussie climate.

Inverter

The brains of the system, your inverter is an AI smart computer that optimises your energy usage automatically, calculating how much energy you’re storing, and using and how much energy could be sent back into the grid. With Off-grid systems, an inverter can also work with a generator back up.

Batteries

The storage units of your Off-grid set up, batteries store energy required for all your usage of the home and for your business. Batteries have many use-case utility scenarios but the key usage is to power your home when you have heavy loads in peak times.
